08 - CAME BACK (SECOND ROUND) + THE ART OF WALL PAPER

As you might see I am not dealing very well with my accomplishments... Anyhow, I have re-made when I am going to write here: When I've got the time & When I decide to.
I wish I had the time to prepare for "Friday writings", ending on Sunday writings three or four weeks later.

Last week I was trying to find a nice wallpaper for my phone... And i found this, which I think it is a marvelous wallpaper

(If I remembered from which webpage I saw it, I would sure write it down).
At first sight I really liked the background colour, a dark red with pinkish flowers drawed on top of it.
Then, I thought of what it represented: Having conscience of what is going to be drawed and what space is going to be left undrawed.
It is also true that nowadays this can be done in an easier way, with image control programmes... But!!! We should also contemplate that there are still people who do handmade wall paper. There is where I see the value of wallpaper. Some clothes brands, luckily, still work on that aspect. Graphic design takes a very important part on our life.
We might think wrong if we believe in this lie. We see signs anywhere, brand names very easy to recognise, colours and shapes that say a lot of the company or thing you have in front.
I believe that graphic designers, and not only, could & should be more valued.

When you get the right view of the way of designing of a specific designer, you start finding all this signs around. Believe me, it even has happened to me.

It is very good to get know all the arts & as many possible things we can learn. At least in a quick view. You learn a lot.

06 - HOYNINGEN-HUENE

First of all I'd like to excuse myself for my absence. I just have been up to so many things.. I decided to leave behind this for this last two weeks but I am full of energy to re-do my path on learning how to analyse art all around us. Anyhow, as you can see Instagram is mostly where I see and find new things that I didn't knew about. I follow a site called marionledigabel and they always post pictures that I find very interesting... But, specially this one, that I found last night, I find amazing. I gave it the meaning I thought -I believe this is fine-. It's a photograph from George Hoyningen-Huene, where you can find two people: a man and a woman. It's very curious how the both are sitting. They are at a certain distance one from another but the photograph, even the viewer knowing the phisical distance, quite hides this. 07 - CAME BACK + STANCESOCKS

This summer has been too busy, that is the main reason which I have been so out.... I didn't accomplish my intentions but moving out and moving in means lots of work. As I have seen what I "write" about, is ART, usually werable ART, so here's another one! I can't help my self of not talking of this SOCKS! YEES! SOCKS! I think that everything that we wear shows who we are, also socks, it shows an important part of who you are. Many people might think: AHHHH, socks, nobody sees them, let's just buy any kind of socks.. In my opinion YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GET SOMETHING YOU LIKE (whatever it is, even socks). I usually buy packs of patterned socks from different places.. I still remember many years ago I had green high socks with ladybugs on them and a pink-white plaid cloth on the top. This days I have discovered STANCE , they sell patterned socks, I think they have a very wide selection and styles to choose. I really like the stripped ones or the ones with geom...

04 - THE ART OF MAKING LOVE

I believe that this subject is very extense and depends in every person. All the subjects, of course, are treated personally, so this won't be less, will it? For me making love is the moment you show to the one walking next to you, how much you'd like to put in words everything that you feel but there aren't always words that can explain feelings.... As nighttime is invading my thoughts trying to put them into words, I'll look for a better way to... oh my... I'm gonna reedit tomorrow night.. No. Tomorrow I'm going to be as much as tired as I am today. I will be as clear as possible. Two souls stuck in two different bodies that have met, luckily, and have a long path to walk if they desire, while they can find ways to show each other their actions and reactions. One of this can be Making love, which is nothing more than showing, one to the other and with the other, to not being ONE, and yes being you, I and us.
